Dong Dawei was born in 1981 in Dalian. Obtained in 2011 DNSEP with congratulations by the jury Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’art de Bourges; in 2004 from the Lu Xun Academy of Fines Arts with a BFA in Oil Painting, Dong Dawei currently lives and works in Beijing.
