Artist Hu Weiyi participates in the group exhibition Dinoysian Super-X, organized by Guangzhou chi K11 art space. Consisting of three sections, the exhibition aims to investigate and reexmaine the various methodologies and techniques artist and individuals could employ to build up a new interrelation between different bodies of entities. Hu Weiyi’s presented work Pulp Landscape 5, the objects of dolls, tires, coins, metals, taps are placed and arranged in unpredictable and abnormal spaces, where they are deprived of their normal functionalities, stepping into the realm of the images through the use of recording methods, where objects could form new narrative relations and interrelations. The exhibition will be on view until February. 28th, 2019.

About Artist

Hu Weiyi was born in 1990 in Shanghai. Graduated with a BA in Public Art from China Academy of Art in 2013, and a MA in Inter-Media Art in 2016, Hu Weiyi currently lives and works in Shanghai.
